“South Dakota’s CDBG program is designed to fund local infrastructure projects in small cities and rural communities,” said Gov. Daugaard. “Whenever we can award funds for projects that continue to improve the vitality of our communities, I am pleased to do so.”

The CDBG awards:

  • Aberdeen will utilize a $412,000 grant towards the construction of the local Boys & Girls Club.
  • Canistota will utilize a $515,000 grant to help construct the second phase of improvements to its water/wastewater system.
